Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you and [Business legal name] ("we", "us"), [Business address], for your use of meeem at https://app.mem.business. By creating an account you agree to them, to our Privacy Policy and to our Refund Policy.

1. The service

meeem lets you generate text with AI models from Anthropic (Claude), using templates or your own prompts. Generating text uses credits. Features may change as we improve the service.

2. Your account

• You must be at least [18] years old, or the age of majority where you live if that is higher.
• Give accurate details and keep your password secret. You are responsible for activity on your account.
• You can delete your account at any time in Settings. Unused credits are lost when you do, except as our Refund Policy says.

3. Credits and pricing

• Credits are bought in packs at the prices shown when you buy. Payments are processed by Stripe.
• Each generation costs credits based on how much it uses the AI model. Before you start one, we show the most it can cost and reserve that many credits. When it finishes, we charge what it actually used, at least one credit, and return the rest. Failed generations are refunded in full. If you stop a generation after text has appeared, you are charged for the part that was produced.
• New accounts may get free credits to try meeem. They are limited to one account per person; we may remove free credits gained by opening several accounts.
• If your balance is low, a generation may be given a shorter length limit so that it stays within your balance.
• Credits have no cash value, can't be transferred, and can only be used on meeem. We may change credit prices and how many credits a generation uses; changes don't affect generations already finished.

4. Acceptable use

You must not use meeem to:

• break the law or infringe anyone's rights;
• create content that is prohibited by Anthropic's Usage Policy;
• harass, deceive or harm others, including spam, scams or impersonation;
• get around usage limits, access other people's accounts, or disrupt or probe the service.

We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules. Where we can, we will tell you why.

5. Your content and AI output

• You keep the rights you have in your prompts. As between you and us, you own the text generated for you, to the extent the law allows.
• You allow us to store and process your prompts and output to provide the service, including sending them to Anthropic to generate the text. Our Privacy Policy explains how.
• AI output can be wrong, incomplete or similar to other people's output. Check it before you rely on it or publish it; you are responsible for how you use it.

6. Availability and changes

We work to keep meeem running but can't promise it will always be available or error-free. If we change these terms in a way that matters, we will ask you to accept the new version before you keep using the service.

7. Liability

meeem is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your rights as a consumer.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of [country or region], and its courts handle any disputes, unless the law where you live gives you the right to bring a claim there.
